A little about me... I am the mom of three-- a nine and a half year old girl, just starting fourth grade, and identical twin boys, just starting second grade (if you ask them, one of them is seven and one is still six- one had his birthday party last weekend while the other hasn't, lol). With my "youngest" (by five minutes, mind you), I have had a lot of experience with the world of special education and other services. Jack and Elijah have needed services since they were in the NICU, they we transitioned to Early Intervention and Head Start. When they were older, we started the IEP process. I made a lot of mistakes along the way, and also had a lot of successes. There were a lot of laughs and a lot of tears. Before the kids came along I earned my degree in Community Health Education with a concentration in School Health Education. I've worked as a middle school teacher for several years before staying home to raise my brood. My hope for you, my reader, is to save you from some of the pitfalls that could be before you. Whatever the question, call, text, or email me anytime. My rates are reasonable, payment plans are always an option if necessary. I'm happy to go to meetings along with you to advocate for your child to ensure that he or she is getting the very best services possible.
